Aluminum Race Car Brake Enclosure Tooling

Machined out of 6061 T651 and later hand polished to a mirror like finish, a right and a left hand brake enclosure toolings were machined to tight tolerances. A high level of detail and a one-and-a-half percent draft angles on tall walls was achieved using a T310 trunnion machine.
