Programming
With over 20 years in the concept car business, working along major design studios and exploring new fabrication techniques, we feel very comfortable taking on new challenges. While some clients look for a unique "out-of-this-world" concept, others want to make their design commercially viable without diverting too much from the original concept. We understand the challenges our clients face and provide quality, timing and economically viable solutions.
At Schulte Corporation,we understand that high speed machining can only be accomplished with high RPM spindles and a powerful CAM package. By running CNCs with a maximum spindle speeds of 24,000 RPMs, combined with shrink fit tooling, the use of CATIA V5 and Mastercam software for manufacturing and custom post processors, we can easily achieve machining efficiency. Moreover, this combination enables us to remove material at exceptionally fast feed rates, shorten cycle times, improve surface finishes, but most importantly, be price competitive. Our expertise in 5-axis programming also makes us one of the few companies able to machine prototypes directly from an STL scanned data using CATIA mold and die CAM package. Our CNCs are programmed using the same system used to engineer complex parts and mechanisms, a practice encouraged by the major aerospace manufacturers. This results in little to no need to migrate parts between software, thus avoiding translation discrepancies.

Machining
Our specialty, 5-axis CNC machining, gives us the ability to machine complex shapes, undercuts and difficult angles in a single set-up, reducing tooling costs and labor time. 5-axis machines speed the manufacturing process and increase accuracy. We equip our CNCs with Renishaw intuitive probe systems to minimize operator errors and improve set-up times. We have a vast knowledge in cutting a variety of hard and soft metals, plastics, polyurethane, high and low temperature blocks, clay and many others.

Engineering Services
Inspection Services
Pre/Post Machining Processes
We provide full engineering services to bring your concepts to reality. Our highly skilled staff will provide support to our client's design to manufacture the project in the most cost-efficient way possible. We have extensive experience in engineering tools for FRP and carbon fiber lay-up processes and complex fixtures and jigs. Our scanning and digitizing capabilities enable us to provide reverse engineering services for a vast array of products, from a simple 2D part to a complex automotive body.
The Inspection Department at Schulte Corporation is a critical part of the production team. Years of experience performing inspections means your parts will not leave our facility unless they are manufactured to exact specifications and meet our even higher level of quality demands. At a client's request, First Article Inspection reports are prepared automatically according to the AS9102 standard. We inspect complex parts using a 5-axis CMM Zeiss machine. We also perform "on-machine" inspections during the machining process using our portable six-axis Romer Arm, saving costly manufacturing time. Large parts are certified using our Faro Vantage laser tracker. Inspection reports are produced using PC-Demis, V Demis or Verisurf software.
Our long standing relationships with ISO- and NADCAP-certified business partners allow us to accommodate a wide variety of finishing services that ensure your machined products are delivered to your complete satisfaction. Among the processes we offer through these alliances are heat treating, stress relieving, plating, anodizing, passivation, black oxide, chrome, zinc and many others.
