Mercedes Benz Biome Concept

Schulte Corporation was hired to manufacture the inner structure of this concept vehicle. Model was constructed out of 2lb EPS foam. Due to the light and fragile material, a wood rib had to be routed and glued to the center of the body. The Biome has been one of the more challenging models we have built. The organic shape forced us to machine separate components and glue them using a pin system and a water-soluble glue.
