Composite Tooling Mastering
and production techniques
Back of Cab module
Recently, we embarked on a new, complex manufacturing process for us. Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) is indeed a method used for producing composite parts with a high-quality finish, and embedding hardware adds an extra layer of intricacy to the process. Achieving a production rate of 27 parts per day was impressive, especially considering the need for both sides of each part to have an 'A' type finish. The post-cure and CNC trimming steps allowed us to complete the process, meeting the client's specifications precisely. This manufacturing cell is not just limited to RTM but also proficient in open mold hand lamination and other composite manufacturing techniques involving chopper gun roving systems.
